What We Do

JP Educational Services develops and delivers training programs designed to further the professional development of district, school, administrator, paraprofessional, government officials, and leaders. The programs can include various delivery methods (i.e., e-learning and/or face to face) and can be prepared as single or multiple touch points (single certification class or span of multiple events over time). Both technical and soft skills can be included.

using a blended approach to support teachers and administrators in implementing and leading the ISTE Standards for Education Leaders, Educators, and Students, leaders and teachers learn how to lead, monitor, create, adapt, and personalize equitable learning experiences for students that lead to increased student engagement, ownership, and achievement. The services include differentiated professional learning that is customized to address the diverse needs of leaders and teachers. This model includes executive coaching, digital tools, strategies, and processes to plan, support, and monitor excellent instruction.

Delivering High-Quality Instruction in a Virtual Environment 

using the best practices for asynchronous and synchronous learning, teachers will be guided on the use of digital tools to collaboratively plan, effectively deliver, and continuously support student learning to ensure excellent instruction in the virtual environment. This model includes executive coaching, digital tools, strategies, and processes to support and monitor excellent instruction.

Technology Integration Plan Development and Monitoring

using a systems approach to guide leaders with implementing systemic reform and re-engineering of resources to develop a sustainable and scalable plan for integrating technology tools and resources to ensure equity, inclusion, and a culture where teachers and students are empowered to use technology to innovate teaching and learning. The services include planning for both virtual and face-to-face integration of technology that allows leaders to rapidly respond to the needs of students, parents, and educators. The model includes executive coaching, tools, strategies, and processes to plan, support, and monitor the effective integration of technology in support of excellent teaching and learning. 

Getting Results with Targeted High-Quality Professional Learning

using a blended learning approach to support leaders with developing high-quality professional learning that fosters changes in teachers’ practices and increases in student achievement. The model will build leaders’ capacity to evaluate multiple sources of data to identify gaps in teaching and learning, develop a professional learning action plan to mitigate the gaps, and design and develop at least one targeted, high-quality professional learning module to address misconceptions, clarify expectations, or extend teachers’ knowledge and skills in the identified area of concern. 

Developing A Shared Understanding of Excellent Instruction for Shared Accountability and Improved Results at All Levels

using a systems approach to guide leaders with developing a shared understanding of excellent instruction by coming to a consensus on the components of excellent instruction using the research. The model includes providing leaders with executive coaching, tools, strategies, and processes that lead to improved delivery of classroom instruction. This includes a system of routines and tools for exposing, exploring, and transcending leaders’ mindsets regarding the importance of teacher feedback which leads to a culture learning and improving. By creating a culture that focuses on providing and receiving feedback, the organization becomes prepared for continuous learning at all levels.  The model is structured to develop the leader’s capacity to observe excellent instruction, provide effective feedback, and ultimately improve teaching and learning. An experienced executive coach with a proven track record for improving teaching and learning will provide onsite coaching and classroom calibration walks to support district leaders in transcending their instructional leadership practices.

Implementing CCRS Math and Literacy for Student Success Professional Learning

using a blended approach to support teachers and administrators in the implementation of College and Career Ready Standards (CCRS). The professional learning will focus on providing teachers with strategies to unpack the standards and plan for rigorous, differentiated instruction using the UBD framework of Backward Design.  This practical approach to supporting teachers in planning and delivering rigorous instruction will lead to student-centered learning and improved student achievement. Teachers engage in collaborative rounds of targeted peer feedback to foster improved teaching and learning. In addition, administrators receive enhanced professional learning to support their efforts in providing quality feedback to teachers based on the implementation of CCRS. Experienced educational leaders with a proven track record will provide on-site coaching, effective tools, and resources to support both teachers and administrators in their efforts to provide high-quality rigorous instruction using the CCRS.

School Leadership Professional Learning for Novice Administrators

using a blended approach to support and develop novice administrators (three years or less) with leading the instructional program using experienced coaches and mentors that focuses on the three major standards for preparing administrators to be successful in the first three years. The model will build capacity for leaders to lead school improvement efforts and manage effectively while building relationships for improved climate and culture. Experienced educational leaders with a proven track record will provide on-site coaching to support the development of both management skills and instructional leadership skills using continuous improvement tools for sustainability and transferability.
